AgriZen

Run the whole cooperative from one system — the store, the members, the hogs and the books.

AgriZen is a complete management and point-of-sale system for agricultural cooperatives. It sells feeds over the counter, carries members on credit, collects their payments, tracks loans and share capital, follows every hog from breeding to sale, and posts all of it to a real double-entry general ledger that produces the financial statements the cooperative has to file.

Built with the Naujan Hog Raisers Cooperative (NaHogCo), Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.

Overview

What AgriZen is for

Most cooperatives run on a stack of notebooks and spreadsheets: one for the store, one for members' credit, one for loans, one for the hog census, and a set of ledger sheets the bookkeeper writes up afterwards. Nothing agrees with anything else, and closing a month means reconciling all of it by hand.

AgriZen replaces that with one system. A bag of feed charged to a member at the counter reduces stock, raises that member's balance, appears on their statement, and posts to the general ledger — in a single action, the moment it is rung up. When the cooperative buys that member's hogs, the feed they still owe for can be deducted from the payout with one click.

It was built with the Naujan Hog Raisers Cooperative (NaHogCo) against their own ledger formats and reporting templates, so the reports come out looking like the ones they already file — including the barangay hog census in the municipal agriculturist's format.

Features

What AgriZen does for you

Point of sale built for a feed store

Scan or search, ring up by the bag or the kilo, take Cash, GCash, Maya, bank transfer — or charge it to a member's account. Prints a receipt on an 80mm thermal printer.

Members carried on credit, properly

Every member has a charge limit, a running balance and a full statement. Charges, payments and voids all land on one ledger that always adds up to the balance you see.

Hogs from breeding to sale

Log a mating and the system works out the farrowing date; record the litter and it works out when they are fattener-ready. Buy hogs from members by weight less advances and feed charges, sell to buyers with the profit on each head.

Inventory that stays honest

Weighted-average costing kept current by receiving, reorder-level alerts, and no way to change a stock figure without giving a reason that is recorded against it.

A real general ledger

Double-entry chart of accounts, journals, trial balance, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow — posted automatically from the sales, purchases and payments staff are already recording.

Seven roles, one audit trail

Administrator, Chairman, Manager, Treasurer, Bookkeeper, Cashier and Auditor each see only their own modules, and every sale, void, edit and payment is written to an audit log that cannot be edited or deleted.

How it runs

Where AgriZen lives

Windows desktop

The till software. Runs on Windows 10 or 11, prints to an 80mm thermal receipt printer and opens the cash drawer.

Web edition

Every one of those modules in a browser, the counter included — on any PC, tablet or phone on the network, or hosted online so the chairman can check the day from anywhere.

One database

Both editions read and write the same MySQL database, so the office sees a sale the moment the counter rings it up.

Get it running

Bring AgriZen to your cooperative

AgriZen is deployed and configured for each cooperative rather than downloaded — your chart of accounts, your barangays, your members, your report formats. We install it, migrate what you already have in your notebooks and spreadsheets, and train your staff.

How we roll it out

  1. Visit and listen. We sit with your bookkeeper and your counter staff and learn how the cooperative actually runs.
  2. Set it up for you. Your accounts, members, products, barangays and report formats — not a generic template.
  3. Move your records in. Members, balances, share capital and stock come across from your existing sheets.
  4. Train and go live. We train each role on its own screens and stay on hand through the first close.

Not a hog cooperative? The same system adapts to other commodities. Tell us what you run.
